A single pear tree, cast in the shadow of the sun as it sets, forms the inspiration for Poirier d’Un Soir, Miller Harris’ olfactory snapshot of a midsummer’s evening. The whole tree is there - the fresh, ripe and refreshing pears, the greenery of the leaves, and the richness of the wood, ever so slightly smoky and warm.
