About Wilgermain brand
Inspiration
Wilgermain is a luxury fragrance house founded by industry expert Francisco Gratacos. Designed to appeal to both the most demanding fragrance afficionado and the individual buying a niche fragrance for the first time, Wilgermain offers a carefully curated collection of exceptional scents conceived to explore a broad range of fragrant themes.
Taking inspiration from the modernity and avant-garde atmosphere of New York’s Williamsburg and the classic refinement and savoir faire of the Parisian left bank, Wilgermain ensures that originality and wearability are harmoniously balanced.
In order to help him realise his dream, Francisco enlisted the help of a great friend, world-renowned master perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. With almost 30 years of professional experience, Rodrigo is a multi-award winning perfumer whose internationally recognised, best-selling creations are known for their unmistakeable personalities.
With an international scope and a will to become universal, each detail of Wilgermain’s fragrances has been thoughtfully conceived and has been entirely produced in both Europe and the USA by traditional artisans using environmentally friendly components.

Design
Wilgermain expresses itself via a specific and personal taste for design, precision and ultimate detail and, as such, its packaging was conceived in unison with the tenets that also dictated the blending of the scents, resulting in all of this dialogues in a coherent, clear and luxurious way, a common language that delivers a unique olfactory experience, both individual and universal.
Just as all of Wilgermain’s fragrances are made with the finest aromatics, an Italian top-quality glass bottle, carefully polished and hand finished, holds them and make them gleam and reflect the light in an unusual way due to the purity and weight of the glass.
A refined Zamak-5 cap, handmade and polished one by one, designed with a shape reminiscent of the bolts and screws that keep together both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Eiffel Tower tops it all.
Modernity, high design, abstraction and historical references, all encompassed in one mere design created by Luis Blanc, one of the most renowned Spanish brand and product designers.
Meet the founder
FRANCISCO GRATACÓS
Wilgermain is the brainchild of Francisco Gratacós, a man who is passionate about art, design and perfumery.
From his studies in psychology, Francisco was always aware of the importance of olfactory memory, not only from a human evolution perspective, but especially from its role in the association and memory of emotions, that is why he always had a special sensitivity for perfumes and their ability to evoke memories.
Regardless his background training, Francisco specialized in business management when he met in 2007 one of the greatest Spanish perfumers, with whom he began to work a few years later in the creation of his luxury perfume brand. This was in fact the beginning of an exciting journey; beyond business, Francisco had found a way to merge his three passions, so he decided to dive fully into the fragrance world.

RODRIGO FLORES-ROUX
Biography
Rodrigo Flores-Roux was born in Mexico 50 years ago and has been attracted to perfumes since he was a child. After completing his studies in Biology, he enrolled at ISIPCA, the perfumery school in Versailles, where he completed an internship with Jean-Claude Ellena.
With more than 30 years of professional scent blending under his belt, Rodrigo is a multi-award winning perfumer and his skill has been recognized with several FiFi Awards among others. Furthermore, his work has been inducted into important best-of lists in the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame.
Currently, Rodrigo is Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan, lives in Manhattan, enjoys museum going and fine dining there, craves the occasional cigar and is, as ever, a newsaholic that is keenly aware of the latest trends, news and happenings.
